👥 Eligibility

  • Open to UofT students and community members

  • Participants can compete individually or in teams

  • Teams can include up to [X] members

  • No prior hackathon experience is required

  • Participants from any academic background or field are welcome

💻 Project & Submission Requirements

Build a solution to a real-world problem connected to one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and help make our cities and communities better places.

You have 5 hours to build your project, so focus on creating a meaningful MVP, prototype, or proof of concept.

Your submission should include:

  • A working prototype or demo

  • A short description of:

    • The problem you're solving

    • Your target users/community

    • Which SDG(s) you address

    • How your solution works

    • Its potential impact

  • A link to your project/code (e.g. GitHub)

  • A short demo/presentation for the judges

You don't need to build a perfect product. Build something meaningful, demonstrate your idea, and show us what it could become. 🚀
